About Quilted Blessings and Gifts

Our store is located in Oakes, ND, a town of about 2000 situated in the
southeast corner of our state, of which we are lifelong residents.  My
husband, Dave, and I opened our store on Sept. 17, 2010 in a completely
remodeled and restored building which was built in 1908.  The original
stucco walls and authentic tin ceiling are all part of the charm.  Our cozy
store houses nearly 2000 bolts of quilting fabrics, Janome sewing
machines, a full line of  notions and patterns, as well as scrapbooking
supplies for your "other" creative side.  We also offer designer inspired handbags,
unique home décor, fragrant candles, kitchen supplies and spices for your
taste buds, baby gifts, and many other gift items, including handmade quilts 
- either "ready to purchase" or custom-made .  We offer quilting and
scrapbooking classes and “do-it-yourself” time in our classroom and make
available everything you need for your projects.  Bring in your show-n-tell
for our sharing board!  You’ll find us on Main Street in Oakes or online or
by the phone just waiting for your visit. 

Our name and logo are symbols of the blessings we have been fortunate enough
to obtain in our lives; God and our Christian roots have blessed us with our
combined seven children in gender order from right to left and our love and
determination to work together in business and in life.  Our sofa is comfy
and the coffee is on, so join us for relaxation and/or inspiration.
